My Review: Bad assassin gone good, it’s like the Asian (toned down) version of Kill Bill. An assassin from the Dark Stone gang decides to run away from her current profession to live a normal life.  She undergoes facial surgery and changes her total identity . Unfortunately for her, she has part of the remains of the mythical Buddhist monk which is said to give powers to whoever possesses it in full. In the assassin & ninja world, this monk’s remains means a lot. So a contract is placed on her head by the Dark Stone leader the Wheel King and the search unravels.

The movie is about 2 hours long, the beginning was good, the middle was slightly dry (due to the development of the love story), and the end goes back to good. Michelle Yeoh is a great actress, she plays the role of the new reformed assassin Drizzle very well. This movie is well balanced including action and drama. I liked the twist towards the end…hmmmm Mr. & Mrs. Smith?. As for the monk’s remains okay it was a little weird but oh well it’ just a movie.

I enjoyed watching Michele as the lead character in this movie, so I rate it 7.5/10.
